Result Driven Ultrafast Solutions

Clark-MXR is your one-stop source for all your ultrafast needs from femtosecond and picosecond laser sources to our contract manufacturing job shop to complete integrated ultrafast micromachining and spectroscopy systems. Clark-MXR prides itself in providing the best value, most innovative solutions, and lowest cost-of-ownership ultrafast products in the industry. These products are designed to allow you to focus on the task at hand rather than the equipment.

Please review our various products using the links on the left and feel free to contact us or one of our representatives at any time to discuss your application and needs. We also offer customized solutions for those unique applications where our standard products don’t quite fit your needs.

Features found in all of our ultrafast lasers:

Industrial controls

In 2003 we introduced the first computer controlled ultrafast laser system. New diagnostics and controls through our CPA series lasers were designed and integrated from the ground up. The embedded controller is based on the industry-leading real-time operating system QNX, a well established real-time version of Unix. The QNX Neutrino RTOS is a secure, stable, and fault resilient operating system. It provides server class security and communication services that allow multiple simultaneous clients connections. Of course safety is a primary concern so only one remote client is allowed to control the system but any number can monitor it. The QNX RTOS is used in many industries and several medical devices based on the OS have been FDA approved.

Since 2005 all of our femtosecond laser sources come standard with an embedded controller running the QNX RTOS. Since the operating system and software are unix based a communication connection can be made to virtually any device and does not depend on third party support or drivers.
